Koko is one of six "Blues Kittens"--a truly exquisite litter. Koko is a very fluffy, fuzzy Siamese mix (Lilac or Blue Point, really a little hard to tell). She's a little lamb with her soft, woolly coat (pale gray/taupe and silver). Her eyes are an exquisite pale blue. (Brother Charlie, also posted, is almost a twin with slightly darker coloring.)
Koko and the Blues were discovered, one by one, just after the time they were weaned. (The kittens' mom is feral, and we were able to trap and release her ...return to the fairly safe area where she was found.) All kittens were little "hissy spitters" at first, very typical of four/five week old babies. With love and lots of cuddling, Koko has finally turned a corner. She'll continue to make progress with all the cuddles she's receiving.
Koko's foster mom writes: "Koko was quite shy at first, much more comfortable watching Charlie, Sadie and Fuzzy play and would let them eat first, then come down off her hamper to eat. She also would seek a "safe" corner shen the scary humans came into the room. That has changed! Koko now will mix it up with the other kittens and naps with at least one, sometimes all three. She finally purred when being held, and we know she'll continue to blossom. She's a gorgeous girl, as are the others. What an amazing foursome!"
We'd love to see Koko adopted with one of her sibs or with Fuzzy, but that's not essential. She should have an environment where she has a feline buddy.....gentle dog should be OK, and gentle children, too. And, she should have lots of human attention. Lovely girl.
