This week, any bit of news about Tom Cruise is naturally seen in light of last Friday's explosive revelation that he and Katie Holmes are divorcing. Thankfully, there's a bit of bright spot for the 50-year-old actor: Cruise earned $75 million between May 2011 and May 2012, leading Forbes to award him the No. 1 spot on their annual list of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. (The big pay days came from his work on Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol and the upcoming sci-fi film Oblivion.)
