Think the complexity, nuances and interconnectedness of The Wire with the intensity and addictive quality of The Shield (complex, deeply flawed characters.)
Writer must have global and political knowledge and willing to do a lot of homework into the banking crisis, knowledge how to shelter and launder money in US banks as well as off-shore accounts, understanding of the legal system, immigration policies, US/Mexico relations and border towns and quickly rip stories from the headlines.
You would be co-collaborator on this project and the lead writer. We will work together on episode summaries/outlines, character arcs and then you write. Together we will shape this and get it to a point where it will be properly pitched or independently produced. Spanish speaking is a plus but not a requirement.
